EnfTech at the first ever UN Arab Consumer Protection Forum

EnfTech will spread. Prof. Christine Riefa is speaking this week at the first ever Arab Consumer Protection Forum. It will be held in Bahrain on 20-21 February and is co-organised by UNESCWA, UNCTAD and the Ministry of Industry and Commerce. ESCWA has been mandated by Member States to help strengthen the consumer protection frameworks and policies in the Arab Region.

The forum will tackle topical questions including how to protect consumer in e-commerce and the digital market. She will present the EnfTech report showing how digital technology has a role in upholding consumer law in e-commerce.
